I am a PhD candidate at Leiden University. My research interests are gratitude's effect on moral judgment and punishment, psychological factors in the process of believing and debunking misinformation, and emotions' role in social interactions. Currently, I'm working on a project examining the role of gratitude in individuals' judgments and behavioral responses towards others' moral violations. Compared to previous research focusing on negative emotions, I am specifically curious about how and why gratitude, as a positive emotion, affects people's moral judgments and corresponding behaviors.
